Happy New Year Kuties!!! I’m hoping your holiday was bright and cheerful and you’re pumped to set the new year ablaze. Granted we’re a few days into the year but it’s still pretty damn new. With that said, I’m sure we all have a more than a few goals, dreams and new year’s resolutions we want to accomplish. New year, New You, right? LOL. At any rate if you haven’t given up on your new year ways just yet I got just the thing you need to win in 2017. It doesn’t really matter what you’re looking to accomplish, this year or any year for that matter, I’ve come to learn that there is only one thing you need to know to take the year by storm.
Tis the season to show up and show out in your shiny best for a festive good time- at least that’s was the theme for Maison Jules holiday party. They had all the fixings and trimmings for the perfect soiree.
Typically when you think of pearls you think of your granny’s accessories or some very demure lady like style. Forget all of that, the silky white gem is back but with a fun and fresh twist take that will have you rethinking pearls completely.
This year, I hosted Thanksgiving dinner at my house which meant I cooked a feast, set a table and everything. And to think I pulled it all together in 24 hour. I felt like an adult, for real. The way it all came together inspired my inner domestic diva and got me feeling like I should do more decorating around my place to host even more gatherings.

It seems like just yesterday that I was in Las Vegas for the award show but it was weeks ago and finally the dopest award show around is about to broadcast for all of the world to see. Trust me when I tell you do not want to miss it. Hosted but the illest, Erykah Badu, the show lives up to is hype. But before the show- there’s the red carpet. This was my third year working the carpet and if I may say so myself, it was my best “werk”. Keep reading to hear about my red carpet expereince and this head to toe look that almost didn’t happen.
Recently, InStyle Magazine invited me and a few influencers to #StyleYourLife by shopping and exploring Tanger Outlets. We were given a budget and a window of time to create a look that identified with the magazine. I’m a huge fan of InStyle so creating a look that fit with their asthetic wasn’t a big challenge for me however the budget and time restiction… well that’s where you seperate the pro’s from the amatuers.
