A Day in the Life and Style
by Kéla Walker
NYC is the perfect backdrop for pretty much anything. From movie sets and television shows to art installations, my daily outfit of the day shoots and more – such was the case for this shoot where my crew and I took to the streets of NYC for an assignment… Kontinue inside for the details on a day in my life …
I’ve been contributing to a new show for the past few months – I can’t wait for you kuties to see it and will let you know when it’s set to air. In the meantime I had to shoot a couple of scenes for the opening sequence of the series which explores every aspect of NYC. To set the scene, my crew and I need not travel far for the perfect City backdrop. Pretty much anywhee you turn in NYC is unique and simply great in character. As TV Host / personality I’m pretty happy go lucky and open to just about anything that will make for good tv (within reason of course). So it didn’t take much for my camera man to convince me to climb a fountain to capture a moment that can only happen in NYC! Needless to say it was a fun day on location.
By the way, this shift dress is one of my favorite dresses. SERIOUSLY. I’ve had it forever, Im talking like 7 years and it never gets old. Clearly it’s a kloset keeper. It was perfect for this shoot that had me walking through the streets of NY.
I REALLY CANT BELIEVE I’M UP THERE but then again I CAN.
Feeling kinda badass for having climbed on the fountain and in a dress and heels no less.
Now this is what I call “street style” What do you think??
