KiKi with Kéla ~ Cocotique NYC Brunch

by Kéla Walker

I had the most fab time at the Cocotique NYC brunch recently and want to share the experience with the you kuties.  Kontinue to see my first edition of the KiKi and go inside the invite only event.

I’m always sharing what I’m up to on Instagram but want to share a little more with you Kuties here on KK.  The KiKi with Kéla is my way of sharing my little adventures and excursion around town with more than the photo or two I post on social media. It’s also a way to take you on the scene of some of the cool exclusive  events I get to attend and sometime cover.  Speaking of which, I’m pretty excited to share my experience at the Cocotique Brunch & not just because I’m their blogger of the month.
Cocotique, a deluxe beauty box subscription service,  hosted an intimate brunch at the National, kicking off  a very chic November.  Guests were invited to try products from Cover Fx, Specific Beauty Skin (which I’m currently obsessed with) and manicures with Lala for Motives new nail polish; all while sipping on Cocotinis (Prosecco and Peach cocktails).

The intimate gathering was a great chance to meet a few new bloggers and catch up with a few blogger boos. Cocotique  Founder Dana offered some insight into the beauty service and future boxes – a special curated box with chef Roble  and Vh1- further helping my point that Cocotique is more than a beauty box but a lifestyle box.

Can I just add that every time I see Dana she has on a gorgeous flowing dress. She’s a very well dressed business lady who’s chic style always evokes the essence and sensibility of her brand. Only fitting since she was once upon a time an Assistant Market Editor at Vogue Magazine. I  love it when when the image of a brand and it’s creator are in sync.  I mean you wouldn’t buy a car from a plumber, right?

It was a cocofab time all around.  Oh and I got to meet Celebrity Hair Stylist Pat Sumpter Davis.  You know I had to ask her about being a cast member / bridesmaid in “I Dream of Nene”.  All in all she said she would do it again and was happy to support her friend and would definitely do reality tv again but more in her lane of beauty.
