I originally spotted this parakeet print on a skirt and despite being super charmed by it I decided not to purchase it. It seemed too right now and I didn’t think I would wear it in seasons to come.  Fast forward a few weeks later and a peplum top popped up in store.   Consider it SOLD.  This fun parakeet print feels more outfit flexible in a top.
A rule of thumb in my kloset, opt for the piece that has more wears to it and this fit the bill.

 I can layer it, put it on under a blazer, wear it  over another shirt.
I can also opt to wear it a skirt, pants, jeans, or shorts.
The options are endless.

And while the cut may seem super trendy right now, in actuality the peplum cut it quite classic .

Combine that with these bright lounge pants and Im trendy and classic  ”at the same damn time”
