The One MUST HAVE Color This Fall

by Kéla Walker

Fall is just days away and I’ve been quietly prepping for it’s take over in my kloset stacking pieces here and there including anything I can find in this goldish yellow color or marigold or as the fashion set call it.  There’s something about this color that make me happy which is why so  excited to see it’s on trend for Fall.

As you know NYFW is happening right now but in real life, that doesn’t matter so much since none of those pieces will be available next year so lets talk about what you can get you hands on NOW- like this golden yellow, marigold color. I don’t know what it is about this odor thats has me craving it in my life and my wardrobe.  Maybe it’s the fact that this color is the same as my favorite flower- the sunflower.  Or maybe it’s just my affinity to color in general. At any rate marigold is the IT color for the season, essential for anyone that wants to be on trend.  It doesn’t take much to be “on trend” in any given season.  It just takes investing in the right things.  The great thing about focusing on a color trend is that  you can add it to your wardrobe in a number of ways , in whatever fits best.  Unlike investing in particular item like bell bottom jeans (which I HATE) you can invest in what you need and not just a trendy item.  Like this vest- I’m a sucker for long vest  (I have a collection of them ) so it was a no brainer when I spotted this marigold one

Invest in whatever you like in this hue just as long as you get something. I assure you, you will want it in your wardrobe. It’s so vibrant without being over baring and fits right in with fall’s traditional tones.

Side bar can we talk about how jeans by Blank NYC have become my new fav.  The fit, cut and color is so on point.  Before Zappos I had not idea that they even existed.  Now I have a mini collection of them. LOVE
