November Fashion Haul #ZapposStyle

by Kéla Walker

Every month I’m put to the task of a Zappos fashion haul. It’s a hard job but hey, someone’s gotta do it and I’m happy to oblige as a Zappos Style Influencer.  I’m issued a specific challenge say, create a great outdoor look for fall  and  scour the site looking for a great look to complete that challenge. More often than not I find this really cool piece that folks are always surprised to hear I found on Zappos.  I actually love when I get that reaction  because it goes to show and prove that there are so many amazing treasures on the site- beyond shoes. Before I complete this month’s challenge I figured I’d switch things up and share my November picks with you early, before I a create a dope look that leaves dazed and confused, asking ” You Got That From Zappos?”

Kontinue for my November Zappos Fashion Haul

For November  Zappos asked us influencers to share our #ZapposStyle “holiday” style and they’re not just talking Thanksgiving.  Did you know November hosts a number of wacky, one-of-a-kind holidays like  World Kindness Day (11/13), Button Day (11/16), Have a Party with your Bear Day (11/17), World Peace Day (11/17), Absurdity Day (11/20), Beautiful Day (11/21), Shopping Reminder Day (11/26) and more! I just received my selections today and I absolutely loved everything.  Seriously. I can’t wait to show you how I style and dress up the pieces I picked.

Turtle Neck Dress
Tis the season to turtleneck and this dress looked so comfy when I spotted it on the Zappos; like the perfect thing to curl up in front of the fire place.  OMGeezy, it’s so soft.  I tried it on an literally did a body shimmy in it because it felt so good.  Like Hmmm. mmmh good.  Yes. That Good. I can totally see myself waring this with adidas and a bomber jacket on those warmer days of the season

Over The Knee Boots
What are the holidays without cold weather style i.e. over the knee boots- a seasonal essential.   You have no idea how difficult it is finding OTK boots to fit my massive calves.  After having a conversation with Zappos Customer service I went with these Aldo boots (Yes, you can get Aldo boots on Zappos)  because of the lace feature that makes them adjustable.   It was between these and a Steve Madden pair that are very similar to the oh so popular Stuart Weitzman OTK boots but don’t have much give in them.  I’m happy to report that I made the right decision with thes boots which do in deed slide over my calf.

Obey Skinny Ripped Jeans
Im all the way into skinny jeans these day.  Add a distressed or ripped effect and I instantly drawn to them.   This is my first time trying Obey jeans and after trying them on, I can tell this will not be my last

Shaggy Sweater

There’s no question that I love cozy knits.  Combine that with the latest fringe trend happening now and you get this shaggy goodness. How could I resist tis piece ? I mean,  the description on Zappos literally says “The perfect Sunday Sweater for a daytime date with your sweetheart.  I dont have a date but it will be great if by chance the family and I go to the movies after dinner on Thanksgiving.

Make sure you check back soon to see how I style my pieces from this month’s #ZapposStyle challenge and which holiday I choose to get dressed up for? In the interim, feel free to peruse the Zappos.com and see what treasures you can find.
