Throwback Trendy ~ Mirror Prints

by Kéla Walker

The mirror prints trend was kind of a big deal this year. Prabal Gurung hit the nail on the head when he designed this pattern for Target earlier this year. Btw- that collection was epic, I can’t wait for the Philip Lim one coming out in September

Whether you call it a floral, tropical or mirror prints, I love the mirage of colors in these prints. I like to pick one color from the print and pair it with a complimenting item. Such was the case with this mirror print top and these green pants. I’ve since worn the top again and picked a completely different color to play with the print. That’s the beauty of these mirror prints, they help maximize the color in your closet and get you playing with color more vividly.  I’m glad it’s a trend that’s still in.

It’s been a long time since I’ve done a kontest and since we are talking about prints I figured now is a good time to giveaway these awesome pair of #shoedazzle floral peep-toe sandals (lucky Size 8). You know how much I love my prints and I fell in love with these floral slingback kuties a few months ago + they are called Kayla. HELLO, What’s not to love!  Well fast forward to now and they have been wasting away in my kloset.  I have never worn them so my loss is your gain. If you want to add them to your Kloset, all you have to do is be my friend…. EVERYWHERE #YesNewFriends.
