You know I’m all about maximizing the kloset, right? On the heels of yesterday’s fun and flirty color blocking look is this bright and neutral (yet still color blocking)  ‘fit.  I switched out the the skirt and heels for pintuck pants and metallic heels for a whole new look.

That’s right,  I wore both yesterday’s #ootd and today’s #ootd on the same day.  The pink tulip skirt worked great with this citrus yellow blazer for a promo shoot I had earlier in the day (see here) but the fun and flirty look wasn’t exactly what I was going for later in the day for a shoot with the Tropfest Film Festival (watch that here if you’re interested).  Less complicated than bringing two different looks to work for the two different shoots, I maximized one look. Everything from the waist up is pretty much the the same as yesterday’s look.  I just swapped the shoes and skirt for a look that was less flirt but still just as fun. Despite not being as bright as yesterday’s look, I love that this look is still kute and fresh with the yellow and gray color combo and maintains the color blocking.   It’s almost as if I went from host to producer with the switch of my pants which btw I live for.  These loose lounge pants; I  buy them in every color possible; they are super comfortable like sweatpants but are more fashionable and structured with the pintuck and silkier material.  More importantly, they require minimum styling and are great for a quick and simple wardrobe change.

The wind tried it during this shot and made me look a couple of month pregnant but that would be a NEGATIVE.
