Modern Vintage ~ Fur and Jeans

All day long I kept getting the same question over and over again: “Is that a real fur coat?”
Why, Yes it is.
I felt like I was being judged all day and someone was going to call PETA on me. In my defense, it’s not a new fur or even close to it. This is one of those OLD fur jackets that your mom and her friends are too good for because they have bigger, fancier ones so they pass this one over to the younguns as a “treat”. You know those older women couldn’t care less, they wear their furs proudly – PETA who? Knowing that its old and super vintage I don’t feel so bad wear the fur; it’s like I’m recylcing, kinda, sorta MAYBE.
Anywho, I took the vintage piece and gave it a modern spin; pairing it with boyfriends jeans (which ironically look more like mom jeans) and kute accessories- lady glove w/ scallop edges, a petite belt and my new favorite bag.
