The Accidental Suit ~ Tuxedo Pants & Boyfriend Blazer

by Kéla Walker

I love an unexpected suit look especially when it’s a chic monochromatic style like today .  It can be difficult to create a monochromatic style and look but I’m telling you when the colors come together just right like today, it’s oh so fabulous.  Read on to see how I create this monochromatic style …

I’m not a suit kind of girl but I love when the pieces come together like so.  This boyfriend blazer was the perfect match to these tuxedo/ racer pants.  If you didn’t know any better, you’d think they were purchased together and not two separate pieces that just so happen to compliment each other. Despite having little to no color this monochromatic suit speaks volumes. It’s such a fresh and polished look but that’s to be expect from monochromatic style, when it’s done right.  When creating your own monochromatic style, keep pieces in the same color family.  It’s ok if they aren’t exact matches as long as they compliment each other and maintain a consistent head to toe look.
