Recently, Style Bloggers of Color  asked how you go from day to night . My answer – A DRESS. In my kloset, it’s the best option to switch from professional to play in a a heartbeat.  

At work, I wear it with a little jacket or something over it to keep it professional. But, when the clock strikes five that extra layer comes off for play time.

Complimenting this dress is my latest acquisition- this neon accordion bag!   I’ve been wanting one of those bright neon satchel for a while now but didn’t want to pay the price for a bag I wasn’t sure I’d rock in years to come. This accordion bag was just the right compromise. At first glance it looks neutral but turn it 90 degrees and POP I got my neon.

It’s subtly brilliant; kinda like this dress that makes me look skinnier than I actually am- side panel patterns will do that for you!
