A recent log on to Essence.com and you may have seen a pop up video with yours truly highlighting fashion needs to “Empower U” for the upcoming Essence Festival. If not then, let this serve as an announcement and run over to the site AFTER you read the details on my good news.
Hey Kuties if you’re anything like me you love a great jewel. I tend to mix-n-match the same pieces over and over again- a few investment pieces (my hermes click clack bracelets) with less expensive pieces (forever 21 statement necklaces) that I interchange with each day’s outfit.
One investment piece I’ve been wanting to add to my collection is Lulu Frost. Her designs blend old world charm with modern day glam, spinning tut some hella chi jewels. She’s been around for years and has even done a collaborations with J.Crew-a testimony to the kind of price tag attached to her baubles.
Enter the fashion Gods with a a sample sale to save my wallets. And this isnt one of those NYC only sample sale. You can visit in studio or go online and check out the sample sale happening this week. Pieces are suppose to be 40-80% off jewelry and I’m hoping that the right piece with the right price will avail itself.
Here are the details:
Tuesday, June 17 -Thursday, June 19
12 E. 20th St between Fifth Ave and Broadway, 2nd Fl (no phone)
How swoon worthy is this “I Met Me in New York” statement bag ?!! Sorry all other places but this clutch is a must have for any gal, NYer or not. I was born in the south (North Carolina, represent) but bred in the New York City (Brooklyn, to be specific) and this bag makes the perfect statement for my style and pretty much LIFE. I’be carrying this arm candy quite a lot this season, including a wedding or two that calls for more casual attire. This statement bag is a great way to dodge all those, “where did you two meet “questions folks ask dates and significant others. Since I’m a single girl, they’ll know right off the bat, I met me in New York.

The tale of fashion and the quest to be stylish. It’s every girl’s story or at least it’s mine which is why I love these book inspired-clutch purses. They’re so kute and whimsical. I’ve been stalking the Kate Spade book clutch for some time but questioned it’s value in my kloset. Sure it’s kute but you have to wonder about a book clutch’s lifespan in your kloset. At a couple hundred dollars, I rather find a soft cover or a look for less. I was pretty elated to find a look for less and just as kute version.
Kontinue for the deets on the look for less book clutch
