You know normally I don’t do this kind of thing… wearing a look exactly as it’s pictured on the mannequin or the model but I couldn’t resist this Prabal Gurung for Target lace blouse and floral skirt pairing. It all just works so great together with the perfect consistent contrast.
Yes, I know these Prabal Gurung for Target pieces are a little old but they are new to KK; well kinda. I wore the lace blouse as soon as I purchased it here (something I try to avoid doing) but I have been holding out on the floral skirt for some time now, waiting for the perfect time to break this kutie out. Now that things are heating up in NYC, I figured right about NOW would be good! I really do try to avoid buying and wearing anything as it’s displayed in store. It’s always my first instinct to stray away from the way it’s been style and think about ways that I can break it up and make it my own! And thats exactly what I did with this Prabal Gurung for Target look straight from the collection’s lookbook. When I purchased the Prabal Gurung for Target lace blouse and floral skirt, I already had it styled with multiiples thing in my kloset but when it came down to it, I could not resist wearing it all together. It’s perfect as is, wouldn’t you say. I love how the metallic heels bring out the grey in the skirt. The shoes are proving to be quite the kloset complimentors working with so much in my wardrobe.
I totally wanted to wear a red lip with this look to give it a little bit of a boost but I ran out of the house and forgot my trusty lippie!!!
Have you ever purchased a look from the mannequin / model for your kloset?
