When Buyers Remorse Works In Your Favor

by Kéla Walker

You ever obsess over an item so much only to finally have it in your pocession and feel blah about it? That’s how I felt about this pull over fur jacket that I’d almost written off until winter started kicking a$s.

Buyer remorse gets the best of us. Either you regret buying it or an item haunts you if you don’t. I actually got caught in between both with this pull over fur jacket.   I thought I was in love with it and had to have it, until I got it.  It’s a lot of coat; very big and grisly- not to mention it’s a b*tch to get on and off.   I should have returned but I think the uniqueness of it made me keep it.  That was a year ago.  I wasn’t sure how to carry it off  so it’s been hanging in the back of my closet ever since waiting for it’s moment. That moment finally came recently when I decided to wear it on one of those frigid days when I just didn’t care and wanted nothing more than to be warm and cozy.  And you know what, I think I fell in love with it again.  Indeed, this pull over fur jacket is A LOT of coat but I’m learning to embrace it.  It’s kind of cool. It’s not every day that you see a pull over fur jacket. I just had to give it a little time and figure out how to make it work for me.  I’m finding that it makes even the most mundane outfits cool and a tad bit fabulous.
